Have you seen those red/purple circles on your favorite athlete before?

Here’s Why!

The cup pulls the superficial skin and tissue upwards, this relieves tension on the underlying muscles, tendons, and nerves. This tissue decompression promotes blood flow, oxygen and relaxation to tight and painful muscles. This is why you may see reddish/purple circles after the cups have been removed. Don’t worry they will go away qucikly and are not painful.

Incorporating dynamic movement with cupping gets better results!

Specific movement will be introduced while utilizing the cups to free restricted tissues and improve range of motion. Dr. Kris will then take you through specific movements, stretches, or rehabilitation exercises with the cups strategically placed on the area of treatment.  The goal of the treatment is to increase range of motion, decreasing pain and recovery time, and stimulate an inflammatory healing response-increasing circulation and collagen production.
